Audio Post Production for Film & TV

Rick Smith, Introduced by Jonathan Laud, New College Nottingham

I am a freelance audio post-production sound designer and dubbing mixer, with experience working at the Dolby-certified Spool Films & Post Production in Nottingham. From working as part of the technical sound team, I have credits in all audio post production roles on projects including feature films, short films, TV series, programmes and commercials, infomercials, corporate videos and radio, both in the studio and on location; from pre-production through to post-production delivery.

Award-winning projects include Paddy Considine’s feature film Tyrannosaur, which was released in cinemas in 2010, Shane Meadows’ This is England 86 and This is England 88 for Channel 4, and more recently the critically acclaimed I Believe In Miracles by Jonny Owen.

I operate on a freelance basis from my own studio offering comprehensive audio production and audio post production services on projects with a focus on creative sound design for moving image.

I can work remotely or on location and and have the flexibility to fit in with your individual schedules and requirements, so please get in touch to discuss the audio needs of your project.
