Nottingham Screen Partnership- Student Microfilm Competition

Running alongside the NIM Festival, the NSP Student Microfilm Competition offers students from selected partner Universities the opportunities to develop and submit microfilms to be reviewed by a panel of esteemed industry professionals from Europe, the US and China including:

  • Gary Rydstrom- Oscar winning Sound Director and designer, USA
  • Thomas A. Walsh- Emmy Award winning Production Designer, USA
  • Mike Blair- Shiver (ITV), UK
  • Dr Yang Ming- Xinhua Net Media Convergence, China

Winning entries will be selected for each category, receiving the highly regarding NIM Festival category winner laurel. All official selections will also be in with the chance to be put forward for international distribution opportunities.

Entry is free but must conform to the technical requirements in the terms and conditions of the competition and be submitted by 2pm on Friday 1st July 2016. All entries must include a short synopsis of the film to be sent through completing the entry form available below.

When you have read through the T&C’s thoroughly you will be able to apply by downloading the entry form and once you have completed it sending it along with your entry using WeTransfer.com to hello@nottinghamscreenpartnership.com
